Philippe Gimel is an oenologist by training, he settled in the Vaucluse and took over the exploitation of the vines of Saint-Jean du Barroux in 2003. Passionate about wine and respectful of the enviroment and biodiversity, the Philippe Gimel creates wines of splendid quality and in respect with organic farming.

Saint Jean du Barroux is located in Malaucène and le Barroux in the AOC Côtes du Ventoux. Thanks to its unique climat and temparatures and rain regulation the Mont Ventoux helps to bring out the best flavors in the wine.

The exploitation of the vines is done without pesticides and chemical fertilizers and in harmony with a rich biodiversity.
